After the incredible success of the ‘Chimps Are Family’ Trail last year, Kingston First, the town’s Business Improvement District, is delighted to announce that internationally acclaimed artists Gillie & Marc are set to transform Kingston upon Thames with their latest public art exhibition, featuring nine stunning wildlife-inspired sculptures.
The outdoor exhibition, titled ‘Wild Kingston’, will be on display from 6 November until next year, inspiring discussion about conservation efforts. Gillie & Marc, known for their large-scale public sculptures installed in cities around the globe, have created this series to raise awareness about the importance of protecting endangered species.
The nine sculptures will be placed along Clarence Street as a public art gallery, offering an interactive trail that encourages visitors to connect with their surroundings in the town centre. The exhibition is free to the public and will be an ideal activity for families, art enthusiasts, and those passionate about conservation. Visit Kingston upon Thames to experience the breathtaking sculptures and learn about the wildlife conservation efforts that inspired this exhibition.
