We are hosting an online business surgery for members with Sir Ed Davey, MP for Kingston and Surbiton, to hear how Sir Ed has been representing businesses in the town centre and to hear from you about your issues and concerns regarding the Covid-19 (Coronavirus) crisis.
When: 12pm, Monday 27 April
Where: Zoom online
Register: email Robyn Smith, robyn.smith@kingstonfirst.co.uk
We have been in contact with many businesses over the past month and we have been informing Sir Ed of a range of concerns and issues organisations across sectors, small and medium sizes, are facing during this health and economic crisis.
These issues include access to and the application process for Coronavirus Business Interruption Scheme; access to cash/grants for a breadth of sectors and for businesses with a rateable value of £51,000 or more, and how we ensure there is ongoing support in the coming months as lockdown restrictions begin to be relaxed. See Sir Ed’s video message to Kingston members here.
In the session, Kirsten Henly, Chief Executive of Kingston First, will also be raising questions for members who may not be able to attend the session, so please email Robyn with these and we’ll ensure you get a response.
